Riot Games introduced the League of Legends Hall of Fame
Riot Games has announced the creation of an esports Hall of Fame in League of Legends. A video statement was posted on the MOBA YouTube channel.
Developers state that the achievements of players entering the "Hall of Legends" will be recognized both in-game and in real life. The selection of laureates will be conducted by a special committee, including LoL veterans, active players, commentators, and experts from various regions. Additional details have not been disclosed yet.
Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok stands out as a logical candidate for the role of the first member of the "Hall of Legends." The Korean esports athlete is the most successful player in the history of the professional LoL scene, winning the Worlds championship four times and being a two-time champion of the Mid-Season Invitational, all while remaining loyal to T1.
