First details of Farmskins Championship

UCC and Farmskins have announced a CS:GO tournament with a prize pool in the sum of $25,000.

The first season of Farmskins Championship will be carried out from May 21 to June 6. 10 participants will divide the prize pool. Besides $25,000, two quotas in the European qualifying round to World Cyber Arena 2017 will be up for grabs.

9 teams will take part in the tournament with a help of direct invitations. The other one participant will have to qualify with a help of the qualifying round, which results will become known this week.

Any team, which wants to participate in the open qualification, will be able to do this on the official Faceit website. Two best teams of the open qualifying round will get to the closed qualification and will play for the invitation to Farmskins Championship together with two other invited teams.

The main event will be started with a group stage, in which there will be two groups with 5 participants in each of them. Teams will play matches in a best-of-three (bo3) format by a circle system. Two best participants of each group will go to the playoff with a Single Elimination bracket and matches in a best-of-three format.

$25,000 will be divided among 4 best teams in the following way:

1st place — $15,000 + WCA 2017 slot in the European qualification2nd place — $6,500 + WCA 2017 slot in the European qualification3rd place — $2,5004th place — $1,000

The organizers have informed about 6 teams to be invited at this moment.
