"Virtus.pro" were not allowed to participate in the qualifiers for Malta Cyber Series: VII due to the presence of Russian players in the lineup

Virtus.pro's team, representing the Armenian organization, got disqualified from the Rainbow Six Siege qualifiers for the Malta Cyber Series: VII. Club representatives explained that the disqualification was because there were Russian players on the team.

VP's management clarified that Ubisoft invited them to the qualifiers, but the tournament itself is overseen by the tournament operator GMR. Club representatives highlighted their intention to discuss this matter with Ubisoft.
