New Cyberpunk Shooter DEFECT Announced with Soundtrack by Mick Gordon

DEFECT, a newly announced multiplayer first-person shooter set in a cyberpunk world, features a soundtrack by the renowned composer Mick Gordon.

The game is set in the last city on Earth, ruled by an authoritarian AI, where crime runs rampant—ranging from weapon smuggling to murders and arrests. Players can choose to align with either the city’s legal or illegal police forces, or join one of the many criminal gangs. Your choice will affect your objectives in battles and influence your overall gameplay style.

Form a team of up to four players, armed with cutting-edge weapons and technology, to gain the upper hand in tactical survival battles and claim all the rewards for yourself. Each match will have multiple objectives, leading to different outcomes.

DEFECT is scheduled for release exclusively on PC via Steam, though the developers have not yet announced an official release date.
