ESL reported on their Twitter account that Virtus.pro became the first participant who got a direct invitation to the championship.

RekisteröidyThe upcoming Major tournament will be taking place on 23-27 May in Birmingham, England.The prize pool will be $1,000,000 and 1,500 DPC Points and the holding place will be Birmingham Arena. The prize pool will be divided among 12 participants of the championship. Six of them will get invited directly, while the others will get to the LAN final with the help of regional qualifiers.
