Digital Chaos.SA had won the North American qualification to PGL Open Bucharest 2017, however, Digital Chaos decided to get rid of its second Dota 2 roster, in such way, they left players with no chance to take part in the tournament by PGL.

Organizers of the championship hosted a match that determined among two participants of the semi-final who would replace DC.SA at the LAN final: Infamous and SG-eSports. Infamous prevailed, they won with a score 3-1.

The LAN final of PGL Open Bucharest 2017 will be hosted in the capital of Romania Bucharest on October 19-22. $300,000 and 300 Dota Pro Circuit Points will be up for grabs there.

The tournament will start with a group stage that will be carried out by a GSL system with Bo3 matches. The championship will be over in a Single Elimination bracket, matches will be played in a Bo3 format. The winner will earn a money prize in the sum of $130,000 and 150 DPC Points.
