In a move that has thrilled esports fans worldwide, the organizers of the Esports World Cup have revealed a record-breaking prize pool of $60 million. This generous contribution from Saudi Arabia marks a $15 million increase compared to the Gamers8 event in 2023. Detailed information about the global championship has been unveiled on Twitter.

The event's organizers have strategically divided the prize pool into several segments. A significant $20 million will be distributed among 16 esports organizations, encouraging many teams to venture into previously unexplored or long-forgotten disciplines. As a result, the competition is expected to see a resurgence of interest in various esports titles. The most successful organization across the tournament will be crowned the world's first Esports World Cup champion.
The remaining prize money will be allocated as follows:
- Over $33 million for the overall prize pool across individual disciplines.
- $7.6 million designated for qualification prizes.
- $1.1 million reserved for MVP awards, with a minimum of $50,000 awarded for each discipline.
