February 15 is the first day of the main stage of DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017. 16 strongest teams of CS:GO arena will participate in the event. These teams have proved that they have a right to participate in the tournament with a huge prize pool. 8 of them received direct invites. These are the following teams:
Ilmaisia jalokiviä sekä päivittäisiä, viikoittaisia ja kuukausittaisia lisäpalkkioita!

For OpTic Gaming, Astralis, SK Gaming, Virtus.pro and other teams this is the chance to prove that is wasn’t a mistake that the teams have got into the list of the best teams and were invited directly. This tournament will show us whether they really deserve to get direct invites or the time came to give way to other teams with big prospects. Astralis are the champions of The ELEAGUE Major 2017. After this winning, the team lost many matches which could easily be won. Most of the fans and analytics started to think that the Danish team relaxed after a phenomenal winning. We will get to know whether this is a truth after DreamHack Las Vegas 2017 LAN-final. Other 8 teams made a huge work to join the list of DreamHack Las Vegas 2017 participants. They should have passed the preliminary qualifying stage, which took place in three regions: North America, Europe and Asia. The organizers gave 4 slots for the best European teams. The following teams managed to join the event after passing the European qualifiers:
FaZe Clanmousesports | Gambit eSportsFnatic |
Fnatic gathered a strong roster, which has previously demonstrated good results. This tournament will show whether they took a proper decision to play together again and whether they still can play as a team. The news that FaZe Clan bought NiKo from mousesports still is the point to discuss for many fans and analysts. DreamHack Las Vegas 2017 is the latest tournament for the player in mousesports roster. We suppose that a player will show the maximum results in his latest games for the German team. For North America, the organizers left 3 slots. These slots were taken by the teams which really managed to surprise everyone. CompLexity Gaming, Misfits and Renegades defeated such favorites as Team Liquid, Immortals, Luminosity Gaming and many others. In Chinese region, TyLoo took over all teams and took the only slot for this qualifier. It is not a surprise as TyLoo is one of the strongest teams in the region. However, it is difficult to predict how they will show themselves on the event because of the lack of сcompetition in the region. They could show a good game, but they could also become outsiders as their opponents are such strong teams as SK Gaming, Astralis, Natus Vincere and others. DreamHack Masters series of events differs from other tournaments with the prize pool. Ordinary DreamHack tours usually have a prize pool of $250,000, while DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017 has a prize pool of $450,000. The prize pool will be distributed in the following way:
