The organizers of DreamHack Denver 2017 announced new details about the qualifiers to the event. After holding championships in Atlanta, Montreal, and Austin, DreamHack decided to return to North America and stop at Denver to organize the event on October 20 – 22. National Western Complex will host the tournament, and 8 teams will compete for the prize pool of $100,000. 6 teams will receive direct invites from DreamHack, and remaining two teams will have to get through online qualifiers in Europe and North America.

The first one will be open, and every team that wished to try themselves out will be able to join it. In the second stage, 8 best teams of the first stage will join 8 other roster that will get invites. They will compete for one ticket to the LAN-final in each division. Schedule of qualifiers: Europe September 23 — Open qualifiers. Starts at 16:00 (CEST)September 24 — Closed qualifiers. Starts at 13:00 (CEST) North America September 23 — Open qualifiers. Starts at 00:00 (CEST)September 24 — Closed qualifiers. Starts at 21:00 (CEST)
